Made my way through the Kochan book after the second attempt. A lot more made sense this time around, especially for the first two thirds of the book. I figured that anything that was unclear I can hopefully pick up in the iOS specific programming texts.
I had previously started on the Big Nerd Ranch iOS 4 programming text. Before heading back to it I have preordered the new edition which has been updated for iOS 5. While I wait for it to be published and delivered, I’m trying out Beginning iOS 5 Development by Apress. Why start on a different text? Quite unsurprisingly, I’ve found that repetition is helping. The more I go over the development process, the more it’ll sink in. That’s the plan anyway!

“We’re working on things that will blow your mind” is a pretty constant theme amongst those I talk to from time to time at Apple. While the competition is all aimed squarely at them, they’re not worried in the least bit because they’re aimed squarely at the future.

Apple continuing to support App developer growth. Might turn out to be a nice overview of the process.
